Can't connect to PTZ camera with Joystick?

Checking the Joystick IP setting:

  1. Login to the joystick
  2. Enter 'Menu Settings'
  3. Enter 'System'
  4. Enter 'Network'
  5. Ensure 'DHCP' is set to off. Note: If it is set to on, highlight it with the joystick and move the joystick to the left or right to set it to off then hit 'Enter'. If it is already set to off just hit 'Enter'.
  6. On the IP address page ensure the 'IP address' is 10.100.100.121 and 'Gateway' is 10.100.100.1. Note: All other settings can be left as is and if the settings are already set to this then just hit 'Enter' to leave this page.


Now go back to the main menu and zone control to check if you can connect to the camera. If you can still not connect to the camera move onto the next step.

 

Checking the Camera Configuration:

  1. Enter 'Menu Settings'
  2. Enter 'Zone'
  3. Check the following settings are set as below:
    1. ID: *0
    2. Name: blank
    3. Type: SD
    4. Link: Net
    5. IP Address: 10.100.100.120
    6. Port: 37777
    7. Step: 8
    8. Rule: DH-2
    9. Username: admin
    10. Password: (same password you use to login to the joystick)
  1. Once you have checked/set all of these, hit 'Enter'

 

Again, once you have done this go back to Zone Control and check if you can connect to the Camera. If you can still not connect to the camera, please open a ticket.
